Laptop screen / Écran de portable

J'ai brisé l'écran de mon ordinateur, je pensais que ce serais la fin du monde! Je n'avais pas tout de suite le budget pour remplacer mon portable et j'en avais besoin pour travailler!
I broked the my laptop screen, I though it was the end of the world! I didn't have the budget at that time for buying a new laptop and I needed it for working!

Alors, quelqu'un m'a parlé qu'on pouvait seulement commander l'écran et la changer soi-même. J'ai voulu essayer, j'ai cherché un peu sur Internet (je suis tombé sur www.LaptopScreen.com, un site américain) et me le suis commandé pour mon modèle, un Dell N5030.

Then, someone tell me that it was possible to just order the screen et change it myself. I wanted to try, looked on Internet (I found www.LaptopScreen.com, a site from the United-States) et ordered the pour my model, a Dell N5030.

J'ai commencé par regardé sur Internet pour avoir une idée en gros de comment le changer, puis j'ai essayé moi-même. La première chose qu'ils nous conseillaient, c'était d'enlever la batterie, ce que j'ai fait.

Firstly, I looked on Internet for having a good idea how to know how to change it, and after I tried it myself. The first thing I read was to remove the battery, and I did so.

Après, je n'ai rien trouvé qu'y s'appliquait à mon modèle de portable, alors je me suis débrouillée comme je pouvais. J'ai décollé le contour de l'écran, qui était clippé, avec mes ongles. Je n'ai pas réussi à déclippé le bas de l'écran, mais je n'avais pas besoin de l'enlever en entier alors c'était correct.

After, I didn't find anything for my model, so I tried it by myself. I removed the screen contour with my nails. I wasn't able to remove the bottom of the screen, but I didn't need to remove it completely, so I let it be.

Ensuite, j'ai dévissé les deux petites vis aux deux coins du haut de l'ordinateur. J'ai découvert par la suite quatre autres vis sur les côtés, deux de chaque, de l'écran qui pouvait maintenant avancé. Je les ai dévissées aussi.

Then, I unscrewed two little screws at the two top corners. I discovered four other screws on the sides, two on each, ot the screen that was now able to move. I unscrewed these screws too.

J'ai décollé doucement le fils collé sur le derrière de l'écran et débranché la prise à l'arrière. Je pouvais enfin mettre la nouvelle écran. J'ai rebranché le tout et tout refermé.
I smothly removed the wired behind the screen and disconnected the little outlet. I was finally able the put the new screen. I connected everything and closed it.

Cela n'a pas marché du premier coup. L'écran est resté noire et l'ordinateur faisait des drôles de bruits, alors je l'ai ouvert à nouveau et rebranché la prise à l'arrière de l'écran. Cette fois, l'écran est devenue blanche, mais ça continué à sonner. J'ai réessayé et finalement, j'ai réussi.

It didn't work the first time. The screen remained black and the laptop made some strange bips, then I opened it and connected again the outlet at the back of the screen. That time, the screen became white, but the laptop made some other noise. I tried again and that time, it was a success.

Maintenant, mon ordinateur est comme neuf et il fonctionne très bien, sans que ça me coûte cher. C'est génial!
Now, my laptop work like if it was new and that, without any expensive cost. It super!
